He is very professional and takes the time to adjust his teachings so that both kids can understand it at their individual levels. Mark is very patient with the kids. He is also very flexible with his schedule, accommodating the times when we need to reschedule the kids' lesson. Our 10 year old son started piano when he was 5. We recently moved to Irvine, and we were anxious to find a new teacher for him.  We are so pleased to have found Mark.  He has a wonderful rapport with our son, and has truly tailored and individualized his lessons to him. Mark has struck a great balance of introducing technique and discipline while still keeping our son motivated and engaged. We can hear the difference in his playing after just a few weeks.   Even his grandmother commented on the improvements in his musicality.  We love that Mark can come to our house to teach. With complicated work and school schedules, this is a godsend.   We highly recommend!

Mr. Howard has been working with both of my girls for the past two years.  It is so convenient having an instructor come to the house, and he is always, patient, calm, and diligent in keeping the girls focused. t has been a pleasure watching them progress with their knowledge and abilities.
